Proud to be a Pioneer today . Looking forward to the Simi vs Royal matchup in wrestling tonight.
Good luck to students taking Finals this week! It is your time to shine!!
The time has come for the Physical Education students of Mr. Schreck’s class to partake in America’s favorite pass time, Volley Tennis. A hybrid of tennis and volleyball, the students get a modified game that allows for great participation and enjoyment. Students who may be seasoned volleyball players as well as volleyball first timers will be able to contribute to help the team to victory. Using the boundaries of the tennis court as well as a potpourri of rules form both games, this non-stop blast will leave the class thirsting for more. Special thank you to Mr. Wick and the tennis program for granting us permission to use there facilities. It is the intention of the Physical Education department to treat the facilities with care and respect!! Game on!
Want to give a shout out to the second period Physical Education classes who have been working extra hard. Appreciate the enthusiasm of this group. Also want to mention that my other classes have recently stepped up their game this school year.
The weather this week has been a scorcher. Solar flares, global warming or just the tilt of the sun, it was a hot week. Hopefully all students, parents, teachers and people are hydrating regularly. 8 glasses of water is probably not enough when it is 106 outside. In Physical Education we have modified activities and made water available at students request. Luckily for us, the weather has broken and we can now go back to our regularly scheduled unit!
We are enjoying our softball unit this semester in my Physical Education classes. The skills brought to the table have been mighty impressive. A new twist this semester is that we are mixing in kickball days to the softball unit. This variety is making the experience much more enriching for the students!
Congrats to the 2-0 Pioneers!
